Our Team

International Team is a strategic healthcare consulting company founded in 2007. We offer global product commercialization support, strategic marketing research, and business development support services to pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. We have expertise in global markets, particularly Latin America and Europe. We work directly with Directors of Marketing and Marketing Research of leading healthcare companies to provide them with strategic consulting and marketing research support.

International Team's philosophy is based on three principles:

  • Integrity - We are honest in all aspects of consulting and market research, and act exclusively in the interests of our clients. 
  • Quality - We design and execute projects with the highest possible standards. In qualitative market research, we attempt to use as few moderators as possible over multiple countries, and we ensure that the moderator also performs the analysis. In consulting that involves quantitative market research, we include multiple quality control steps, from pre-test through data cleaning and call backs.
  • Service - We provide rapid response to clients' inquiries and requests, consistently. We do what it takes to meet and surpass our clients' needs and expectations. 

Ron Schechter, the founder and Managing Director of International Team, is a global healthcare Marketing and Business Development Consultant with over 20 years experience in strategic marketing research, marketing, business development, and management consulting. He has also advised startups in the life sciences space, and has participated in entrepreneurial projects involving medical devices.  

Before founding International Team, he directed all strategic market research for Merck & Company in the Latin American Human Health division; he also held director-level positions with several consulting companies. His background includes positions in medical device marketing and strategic management consulting. He is an expert in Brazil and Latin American healthcare markets. Besides English, he speaks fluently French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Ron earned his MBA from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy; and B.S. in Economics cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
